Trustee and Chair of Board

As Trustee and Chair, you will have the opportunity to use and further develop your leadership and strategic skills in a role with clear social purpose and local impact, working alongside a committed team. The planned transition and support from the current Chair offer a strong platform for someone stepping into a Chair role for the first time, while also providing a rewarding role for those with prior Chair experience.

Receptionist / Triage

As a busy service, we receive many calls every day. Our receptionists are the first point of contact for clients who may approach our service, interacting with clients by telephone and face-to-face. You’ll speak with clients to understand their issue in detail, and help get them to the right person, such as by taking a message, transferring them to an adviser, providing information, or signposting to other organisations more suited to help.

Adviser

As an adviser, you’ll explore clients’ situations by telephone, face-to-face and email to understand their issue. You’ll help clients to find solutions to their problems by providing information, advice and signposting. You may support clients to resolve their situations, such as by helping to write letters, filling in forms, or making phone calls.
